John Bolton tells Newsmax: Signs of Biden’s age are visible

Former U.N. ambassador John Bolton expressed concern over the effects of aging on President Joe Biden in an interview with Newsmax on Wednesday. Bolton warned that ignoring the president’s decline could lead to trouble for Democrats in the upcoming November elections.

“I’ve known President Biden for many years, and it’s clear that the effects of aging are showing,” Bolton told “Newsline.” “In any administration, the most valuable asset is the time and attention of the president, and if the president is not fully engaged, it could spell trouble for the administration.”

Bolton cautioned that Democrats are taking a political risk by supporting Biden, who at 81 years old is the oldest-serving U.S. president. “It’s a risky move and could jeopardize the country,” he added.

Discussing a report from The Jerusalem Post about a potential attack by Iran during Ramadan, Bolton emphasized the need to be vigilant. He noted that Iran has a history of exploiting religious occasions to launch sneak attacks.

Bolton, who served as National Security Adviser in the Trump administration, also criticized Biden’s approach to brokering a cease-fire in the conflict between Israel and Hamas. He suggested that Biden’s motives may be driven more by political considerations than by a genuine desire for peace.
