John Fetterman Joins Truth Social and Reiterates Call for Biden to Pardon Trump – One America News Network

Democrat Senator John Fetterman from Pennsylvania has joined former President Donald Trump’s social media platform, Truth Social, marking him as one of the few Democratic officials to do so.

Fetterman (D-Penn.) has increasingly expressed dissent within the Democratic party, diverging from the view that Trump’s legal issues are legitimate. In his inaugural post on Truth Social, he referred to them as “bulls***.”
He has also criticized members of his own party for their anti-Israel sentiments.
“The Trump hush money and Hunter Biden cases were both bulls***, and pardons are appropriate. Weaponizing the judiciary for blatant, partisan gain diminishes the collective faith in our institutions and sows further division,” Fetterman stated.
Fetterman has urged President Joe Biden to pardon Trump following allegations that Trump falsified business records, which Trump views as “political persecution” from the Biden administration and the DOJ.
“As I’ve said, these lawsuits are being run by the Department of Justice, the FBI. Biden is behind it all, believe it or not,” Trump has previously remarked.
After Trump’s significant victory over Vice President Kamala Harris, Fetterman has maintained that Trump’s charges are entirely “politically motivated.”
“I think that it’s undeniable that the case against Hunter Biden was really politically motivated, but I also think it’s true that the trial in New York for Trump was political as well,” Fetterman expressed.
“In both instances, I believe a pardon is warranted, and I contend that America’s confidence in these institutions has been compromised by such cases. We cannot permit these institutions to be weaponized against our political adversaries,” he added.
Trump’s assertions of political persecution were further legitimized when Biden pardoned his son, Hunter, who Biden also claimed was a victim of political persecution, despite the fact that Attorney General Merrick Garland, appointed by Biden, oversees the DOJ.
Harvard Law School professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz described Biden’s pardon as “an acknowledgment that this Justice Department has engaged in lawfare and the weaponization of criminal justice.”
“It’s a rebuke to Garland, a rebuke to the special prosecutor Weiss, and a rebuke of the entire system,” Dershowitz continued.
