Judge Cannon assigned case of accused attempted assassin of former President Trump
According to court documents, U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon, who dismissed special counsel Jack Smith’s case involving classified documents against former President Donald Trump, has been assigned to preside over the case of the individual accused of attempting to assassinate Trump.
