Judge Dissolves DHS Intelligence Unit Headed by ‘Deceivers’ Under Biden Administration

America First Legal (AFL) and former President Donald Trump’s acting Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell have declared a “victory” over the biased Department of Homeland Security Intelligence Group led by Obama officials associated with the “Russia collusion hoaxers John Brennan and James Clapper.”

“The Biden Admin has agreed to dissolve and disband its unlawful DHS Intelligence Experts Group, which was filled with deep state partisans like James Clapper and John Brennan, following our lawsuit with @RichardGrenell,” former Trump White House official Stephen Miller’s AFL announced on Truth Social Friday.

“They have also agreed to provide us with their internal documents.”

A judge has ordered President Joe Biden’s criticized “disinformation” group to be disbanded within 30 days and to give former Trump White House official Stephen Miller’s AFL access to documents and records within 15 days.

“The Experts Group shall be wound down within thirty (30) days of the entry of the Order, it will not hold any future meetings, and the Department will not reconstitute the Experts Group inconsistent with the FACA or the Homeland Security Act of 2002. The Department will also provide the Experts Group meeting agendas and meeting minutes with participant identifying information redacted within fifteen (15) days of the entry of the Order.”

Biden, AFL, and Grenell have agreed to drop the litigation because the Biden group led by DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has agreed to comply with the court order mentioned above.

“The partisan actions and corruption from the Biden administration need to be challenged in court, not just publicly complained about,” Grenell stated, praising the legal victory. “Stephen Miller’s America First Legal is doing just that by taking the Biden administration to court when they abuse the law for their political advantage. Thank goodness Stephen established this organization.

“DHS has backed down because they recognized that the America First Legal team was correct, and Biden’s team violated the law.”

This is the second violation of the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA) that the Biden administration has agreed to disband following a lawsuit filed by AFL. In December 2022, the Department of Education disbanded its illegal Parents Council after legal action was taken by AFL on behalf of its clients, Parents Defending Education and Fight for Schools and Families.

“Thanks to Ric Grenell’s courage in standing up to the Deep State, we have achieved a significant legal victory against Mayorkas and Biden,” AFL President Miller stated in a release.

“As a result of our lawsuit in federal court, DHS is fully giving in to our demands: They are shutting down their new partisan intelligence board featuring Clapper and Brennan — which could have been used for promoting censored, unethical spying and severe violations of civil rights for political adversaries — and they are handing over their documents to us.

“We have emerged victorious. We have defeated Biden and DHS.”

Clapper and Brennan were key figures in the Obama administration that attempted to investigate their primary political rival, Trump, in 2016 when he became the presumed Republican presidential nominee, using the pretext of Russia collusion to damage Trump’s reputation. However, during the scrutiny of the 2016 presidential election campaign, Trump used the narrative “they spied on my campaign” for his own political gain.

Furthermore, Clapper and Brennan used the “Letter of 51” Obama intelligence officials to falsely assert that the Hunter Biden laptop story during the October 2020 presidential election was Russian disinformation.

The discredited letter from Obama officials, seeking to help President Joe Biden defeat Trump, claimed that the Biden laptop story exhibited “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation,” despite the FBI affirming its authenticity the previous year.

Then, in anticipation of another campaign to prevent Trump from returning to the White House in 2023, Mayorkas established the Department of Homeland Security Intelligence Group in September 2023 to smear conservatives and control information under the guise of national security.

Sens. Rand Paul, R-Ky., Rick Scott, R-Fla., Ron Johnson, R-Wis., and Roger Marshall, R-Kan., penned a letter to Mayorkas demanding that the “DHS immediately retract the appointments of these known disseminators of disinformation to the Homeland Intelligence Experts Group.”

Mayorkas did not heed the warning from the GOP, leading Grenell and AFL to file a lawsuit and achieve the ultimate victory on Friday.

Mayorkas was impeached by the GOP-led House earlier this year, but a Senate trial has been evaded as the Democrat-controlled Senate, under Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., has obstructed the trial in an attempt to resist removing the DHS secretary from office.
