The jury in Donald Trump’s New York criminal  case has reached a verdict. They requested an additional 30 minutes to complete the form.

Judge Juan Merchan announced that jurors in Donald Trump’s hush money trial will continue deliberating until 4:30 p.m. If they do not reach a verdict by then, they will be dismissed for the day and resume on Friday.

Merchan called Trump, his legal team, and prosecutors to the courtroom to update them on the schedule. Trump mentioned to reporters before entering, “I want to campaign.”

Upon entering, Trump observed the crowd as he made his way to the defense table. His son Eric returned to his seat behind the defense table in the gallery.

After the judge’s announcement, Trump and his attorney Todd Blanche had an animated, whispered conversation, with Blanche smiling throughout.
