Kamala Harris Takes Aim at Trump during Wisconsin Rally for Abortion Rights

The White House has placed a strong emphasis on abortion rights in the ongoing presidential campaign. President Biden also convened a meeting to discuss threats to emergency care and executive orders related to reproductive health care access.
Biden described Roe v. Wade as a “fundamental right” that had been taken away. He, along with Harris, first lady Jill Biden, and second gentleman Doug Emhoff, will hold another rally focused on abortion in Virginia on Tuesday. Harris’ visit to Wisconsin is the first stop in a nationwide tour to discuss reproductive rights.
During her speech, Harris emphasized abortion as an integral part of personal liberty in the United States. She stressed the importance of freedom to make decisions about one’s body without government interference.
