Kari Lake Tells Newsmax: Voters Witness ‘The Radicalism of Gallego’
Arizona U.S. Senate candidate Kari Lake spoke on Newsmax, highlighting recent poll results that show her neck-and-neck with Rep. Ruben Gallego, revealing voters’ awareness of the Democrat’s radical views.
Lake expressed satisfaction with the poll numbers, stating that despite Gallego spending millions on campaign ads, his attempts to portray himself positively have not been successful.
A recent poll by Emerson College Polling/The Hill showed Gallego ahead of Lake by a slight margin, within the margin of error. They are both running to succeed Senator Kyrsten Sinema.
Lake criticized Gallego for being closely aligned with President Biden’s agenda, labeling him as a younger version of Biden. She also mentioned the issue of abortion and emphasized the importance of letting states determine their own laws on the matter.
Lake aims to be a pro-woman, pro-mother, pro-baby, and pro-family senator, opposing federal funding for abortion. She accused Gallego of supporting legislation that funds abortions and abortion clinics in other countries.
While abortion is a contentious issue, Lake noted that it is not a top concern for Arizonans, who are more worried about issues like border security, inflation, and homelessness.
Lake proposed a debate with Gallego to present their views to the public, confident that once voters learn about Gallego’s stance on abortion, they will reject him. She referred to him as “Radical Ruben.”
