Karoline Leavitt Calls on Newsmax for Additional Debates and Blood Test
President Joe Biden initially hesitated to commit to debates with Donald Trump for several months before finally agreeing to scheduled debates in June and September. Trump’s team is now proposing to add two more debates, as reported by Trump campaign national press secretary Karoline Leavitt on Newsmax.
Leavitt mentioned that Trump is requesting Biden to undergo a blood test before the first debate. The demand raises questions about what Biden may be hiding, especially considering the lengths he went to before agreeing to the debates.
Trump has agreed to participate in debates on CNN in June and ABC News in September, and is also requesting two additional debates — one on Fox News Channel and another in the summer, along with a vice presidential debate.
Leavitt emphasized that the debates will provide an opportunity for Trump to showcase his record of success and strength, contrasting with Biden’s failing record and weakness.
Despite initial reluctance, Biden accepted Trump’s challenge to debate, much to the displeasure of his team. Leavitt called on Biden to step up and participate in two more debates throughout the summer, emphasizing the importance of Americans seeing the contrast between the two candidates.
