Karoline Leavitt Claims GOP is ‘The Party for Women’

In a speech on Friday, Karoline Leavitt, the national spokesperson for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, declared that the Republican Party is the party of women.

These remarks were made at the National Federation of Republican Women’s (NFRW) Spring 2024 Board Meeting in Alexandria, Virginia, as reported by Breitbart.

Leavitt expressed her frustration with claims that the Democratic Party is the party of women, stating that it is untrue. She emphasized that the Republican Party is indeed the party of women.

Leavitt highlighted two instances where she believes the Democratic Party disregards women: the tragic case of Laken Riley and the Biden administration’s endorsement of biological men participating in women’s sports.

She criticized President Biden for allowing illegal criminals into the country, some of whom have committed heinous acts against women like the murder of Laken Riley. Leavitt quoted in Breitbart saying that thousands of women have been victimized due to this lax immigration policy.

Riley’s parents declined an invitation from Rep. Mike Collins, R-Ga., to attend Biden’s State of the Union speech, and instead met with Trump last week.

Leavitt also condemned the Biden administration’s support for biological males competing in women’s athletics, promising that Trump will prioritize protecting women’s athletics and safe spaces if re-elected.

She reiterated these stances in an interview with Breitbart, emphasizing the Republican Party’s commitment to women’s rights and Trump’s promise to address these issues.
