The gag order placed on former President Donald Trump in his business records trial in Manhattan is deemed “outrageous and unconstitutional” by Karoline Leavitt, his campaign press secretary. She stated on Wednesday on Newsmax that the absence of a ruling on the matter continues to violate his First Amendment rights.

Leavitt criticized the judge’s decision to reserve judgment on whether Trump breached the gag order, while prosecutors argued that his sharing of news articles and videos constituted further violations.
