Karoline Leavitt Talks to Newsmax: Hunter Trial a ‘Distraction’ From the ‘Real Crimes’ of the Bidens

The Hunter Biden gun case verdict is being seen as a distraction, with Trump campaign press secretary Karoline Leavitt stating on Newsmax that “Americans should not be fooled.”

“This trial has diverted attention from the actual crimes committed by the corrupt Biden family,” Leavitt said during Wednesday’s “Wake Up America.” She highlighted the significance of the Hunter Biden laptop in the trial, which was previously dismissed as fake by various parties and entities.

Leavitt continued, “The laptop, which has now been proven to be real, contains evidence pointing towards Hunter Biden’s involvement in illegal foreign corruption and bribery activities alongside his father, Joe Biden. While Hunter was charged and found guilty of gun crimes, he was not charged as an unregistered foreign agent, potentially implicating Joe Biden.”

Hunter Biden, 54, was convicted on Tuesday in Delaware on three felony charges related to a handgun purchase in 2018, where he falsely claimed on a gun-purchase form that he was not a drug user.

When asked if former President Donald Trump was satisfied with the verdict, Leavitt emphasized that the real criminal is the current President, Joe Biden.
