Karoline Leavitt Tells Newsmax: Hunter Gun Case Overshadows Laptop Scandal
Karoline Leavitt, national press secretary for the 2024 Trump campaign, spoke to Newsmax on Tuesday about how Hunter Biden’s gun case diverted attention from the substantial evidence on his laptop.
“This trial has been a distraction from the genuine crimes of the corrupt Biden family. We cannot forget that during a debate with President [Donald] Trump, Joe Biden denied the existence of the Hunter Biden laptop,” Leavitt told “American Agenda.”
“Despite calling it possible Russian disinformation, the laptop was crucial evidence in proving Hunter’s guilt in the gun charges. Moreover, the laptop contains a wealth of evidence indicating that both Hunter and Joe Biden, the President, are involved in more serious offenses than gun charges.”
The laptop, once dismissed as potentially part of a “Russian information operation,” was presented as evidence in Hunter Biden’s gun trial and includes emails and texts involving Hunter’s business partners, President Joe Biden, alleged Chinese spies, and others.
“In the courtroom, the laptop, a silver MacBook 13 Pro, was used as evidence to identify Hunter Biden’s laptop abandoned at a local repair store, confirming our claims from four years ago,” said journalist Miranda Devine.
