Karoline Leavitt Tells Newsmax: Trump Expected to Reveal Vice President Pick at Convention

Former President Donald Trump is expected to reveal his choice for running mate at the Republican National Convention in July in Milwaukee, according to Trump campaign press secretary Karoline Leavitt speaking to Newsmax.

“President Trump has indicated that he may announce his running mate at the Republican convention in Milwaukee this summer. This plan is not definitive and is subject to change. The decision on his vice president ultimately lies with President Trump,” Leavitt said on “American Agenda.”

Recently, The New York Times reported that seven Republican candidates are being considered for the position: Dr. Ben Carson, Sens. J.D. Vance, Tim Scott, Tom Cotton, and Marco Rubio, Rep. Elise Stefanik, and Gov. Doug Burgum of North Dakota.
