The rally, featuring Kid Rock and a number of other musical guests, is taking place at the Capital One Arena, which can accommodate 20,000 people and is home to both the Washington Wizards and the Washington Capitals.
The American singer-songwriter shared an enthusiastic message on social media before the rally, stating, “Good Morning from DC!”
“I can’t wait to perform for WE THE PEOPLE today at The MAGA Victory Rally!,” he proclaimed in a Sunday morning post on X. “I have a feeling it’s going to be an unforgettable year for all! America is back!”
Kid Rock energized the large audience of Trump supporters by asking, “Is MAGA in the house?” before performing crowd favorites like “All Summer Long,” “We the People,” and “Bawitdaba.”
During his performance, a recorded message from Trump resonated throughout the venue, declaring, “Let’s Make America Rock Again.”
The event will also showcase performances from other artists including Billy Ray Cyrus, Lee Greenwood, and The Village People preceding Trump’s closing speech.
Actor John Voight, one of Trump’s appointed special envoys to the entertainment industry, also addressed the crowd to commemorate Trump’s electoral success, emphasizing it was the “victory we all worked for.”
“What a privilege it is for me to stand here in front of you. Exceptional men and women who’ve gathered to celebrate the greatest achievement [of] all time. The biggest win of all time. The victory we were all striving for,” he remarked.
“To safeguard our nation and our democracy. And I am profoundly grateful to announce that Donald J. Trump is the 47th president of the United States of America. He will restore America’s prosperity and make it great, safe, and respectful of our flag once more,” Voight continued.
“He will reintroduce God into our nation’s fundamental truths. He will rejuvenate this great nation, America,” he added.
Trump appointed Voight, along with Mel Gibson and Sylvester Stallone, to act as special ambassadors “to a great yet troubled place, Hollywood, California.”
In addition to Voight, the roster of speakers includes JD Vance, Elon Musk, Hulk Hogan, Dana White, and Charlie Kirk, among others.
