KT McFarland tells Newsmax: Trump’s Policies are Damaging Iran, Russia, and Hamas
According to former deputy national security adviser K.T. McFarland in an interview with Newsmax on Saturday, the current chaos in the world would not have occurred if Donald Trump had been president.
McFarland, who is also a board member of the American Conservative Union, attributed the four years of peace during Trump’s presidency to his economic policies that kept Iran, Russia, and Hamas from engaging in war.
She explained, “Donald Trump pushed oil prices down to $40 a barrel, which crippled the income of Russia, Iran, and consequently Hezbollah and Hamas. This resulted in no nuclear program for Iran.”
McFarland emphasized that Trump’s economic strategy prevented conflicts by forcing these countries to focus on their domestic issues rather than military aggression.
However, McFarland pointed out that President Biden reversed Trump’s energy policies on his first day in office, causing a significant increase in oil prices, inflation in the American economy, and enrichment of countries like Russia and Iran.
