Larry Elder, a Conservative, Pledges to File Lawsuit Regarding Exclusion from 2024 Presidential Debate
GOP presidential candidate Larry Elder plans to sue the Republican National Committee (RNC) after being disqualified from participating in the first presidential debate among 2024 contenders. Elder accused the RNC of using rigged polling criteria set by the anti-conservative establishment. He claimed that he was disqualified because he submitted polling data from conservative Rasmussen Reports, which has ties to former President Donald Trump. Elder stated that he met all the qualifications to be on the debate stage and will fight to be included. Similarly, Mayor Francis Suarez, another GOP candidate, did not meet the RNC criteria to participate in the debate. Suarez had previously expressed that candidates who don’t make the debate stage should drop out. Both Elder and Suarez are considering their options following their disqualifications.
