Leaked Debate Memo: DeSantis Takes a Step Back
Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis has distanced himself from a leaked memo that detailed his debate strategy. The memo, from a political action committee supporting DeSantis’ campaign, suggested that he should defend former President Donald Trump, attack Joe Biden and the media, and take aim at his rival Vivek Ramaswamy. DeSantis claimed that the memo was not his and that he had not read it. His campaign previously stated that they were unaware of the memo and that it was not a campaign memo.
