Left-Wing Attacks Criticized by Clarence Thomas’ Legal Team
Justice Clarence Thomas’ legal team has responded to criticism and ethics attacks from left-wing organizations. The attacks stem from a report that Thomas received gifts from a Republican donor without reporting them. Thomas’ lawyer called the attacks ridiculous and dangerous, stating that they set a precedent for political blood sport. Republican lawmakers also defended Thomas, stating that the left has been targeting him for over 30 years. Over 100 of Thomas’ former law clerks also published an open letter rejecting attacks on his integrity and character.
