Mar-a-Lago Manager Enters Not Guilty Plea in Documents Case
Former Mar-a-Lago property manager, Carlos De Oliveira, has pleaded not guilty in a case involving former President Donald Trump’s retention of classified documents. De Oliveira is accused of discussing the deletion of security footage with Trump and aide Walt Nauta at Trump’s winter home, where he kept boxes of documents from his time in the White House. De Oliveira’s arraignment had been postponed twice before due to his lack of a Florida-based attorney. Trump and Nauta have also pleaded not guilty to the charges. This is one of several criminal cases that Trump is facing as he considers a run for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.
