Mass Fire Evacuation Alert Accidentally Issued to All 9.6 Million Residents of L.A. County – One America News Network

A wireless emergency evacuation notice, which was meant solely for Woodland Hills residents, was “accidentally” broadcasted to all of Los Angeles County, causing widespread confusion and panic.

Shortly after the alert was issued on Thursday, County Supervisor Janice Hahn took to X to clarify the technical mistake.
Minutes after the initial alert, another emergency notification was sent to residents’ phones. This follow-up alert stated: “Disregard the last EVACUATION WARNING.”
The Kenneth Fire is currently posing a threat to the Woodland Hills area, which is situated near Calabasas and Tarzana.
Officials from other cities within Los Angeles County promptly took to social media to clarify that the alerts were not applicable to their regions.
As of Thursday evening, nearly 180,000 residents in Los Angeles County are under evacuation orders due to the Palisades Fire, the Kenneth Fire, the Eaton Fire, the Hurst Fire, the Lidia Fire, and the Sunset Fire impacting the area.
