Matthew Whitaker speaks to Newsmax about the challenges faced by Fani Willis
In response to Fulton County, Georgia, Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee’s recent ruling, Mallory Staples, Director of the Georgia State Freedom Caucus, described it as “horrifying” in an interview with Newsmax.
Staples went on to express, “What it signifies is that the law is no longer blind, impartial, or evidence-based.”
McAfee’s decision stated that lead prosecutor Nathan Wade must either be removed or District Attorney Fani Willis should recuse herself from the election interference case against former President Donald Trump.
During an appearance on “The Chris Salcedo Show,” Staples criticized McAfee, pointing out his association with Willis and her campaign, stating that such bias is what frustrates Americans and undermines the judicial system.
Former acting U.S. Attorney General Matthew Whitaker, also present with Staples, raised concerns about the manner in which Willis constructed her case against Trump.
Whitaker remarked, “It’s a case where she attempted to create a conspiracy out of fragmented information. It lacks substance.”
