Mayorkas Calls on Congress to Provide Funding for FEMA Following Hurricane Milton
According to U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, federal officials currently have sufficient resources to address the immediate needs following the consecutive hurricanes. However, Mayorkas urged Congress on Thursday to provide necessary funding to the Federal Emergency Management Agency as required.
