McDaniel Prepares to Fight Back After Being Fired from NBC

Reports suggest that Ronna McDaniel, former Republican National Committee chair, plans to work with attorney Bryan Freedman in a legal battle against NBC following her sudden dismissal from the network.

According to Politico, McDaniel has enlisted the help of a prominent Los Angeles attorney to explore legal options beyond seeking compensation for her terminated contract valued at $300,000 annually for two years.

Politico also stated that McDaniel is considering pursuing claims of defamation and a hostile work environment after facing criticism from MSNBC hosts.

McDaniel announced her resignation as RNC chair in February.

According to Politico, McDaniel is upset about being let go by NBC despite being recruited by executives without meeting the network’s top talent beforehand.

Politico reported that McDaniel is particularly upset that NBC did not defend her against negative comments made by their own hosts during a multi-day campaign.

“What angers me the most is not that they let me go; it’s that they allowed their talent to criticize Ronna publicly without any pushback,” a source close to McDaniel told Politico.

Freedman has represented clients like Megyn Kelly, Chris Cuomo, Don Lemon, and Tucker Carlson in the past, according to Politico.

An NBC spokesperson declined to comment to Politico.
