McGuire Defeats Freedom Caucus Chair in Recount
The results of the recount in Virginia’s 5th District race have been revealed, and Freedom Caucus Chairman Bob Good has been defeated. After two terms, the Virginia Republican officially lost his reelection primary to state Sen. John McGuire, who secured the nomination following the official recount.
