Donald Trump pollster John McLaughlin and Ken Cuccinelli, founder of the PAC that supports Gov. Ron DeSantis’ presidential campaign, discussed the presidential campaign on Newsmax. McLaughlin criticized President Joe Biden, calling him the most corrupt and failed president in US history. He also stated that there are no undecided voters when it comes to Trump and DeSantis because they see Biden as the target. Cuccinelli disagreed, saying that there are still undecided voters and that the American voters should be the ones deciding the election. He praised DeSantis for his leadership skills during a recent hurricane strike in Florida and dismissed claims that DeSantis will drop out of the race. McLaughlin mentioned that Trump may not participate in the GOP debates but it was a good move for him to bypass the first one. The two agreed that the Republican Party should unite behind Trump to defeat Biden.
