Melania Trump to Host Second Event Alongside Log Cabin Republicans

Former first lady Melania Trump is set to headline an event for the Log Cabin Republicans at Trump Tower in New York next month, as reported by Politico on Monday.

The event on July 8 will be her second hosting gig for the organization this year. In April, she hosted an event for them at the Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, alongside former President Donald Trump.

The co-hosts for the July 8 event include Richard Grenell, acting director of national intelligence and U.S. ambassador to Germany during the Trump administration, among others. Attendees are expected to contribute up to $100,000, with proceeds benefiting the Log Cabin Republicans’ “Road to Victory” program.

Melania Trump has been relatively low-key in her husband’s third presidential campaign, avoiding public discussions about his legal issues and limiting her participation in political events. She did, however, attend a fundraiser for her husband in April and joined a meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and the former president in March.
