Members of Kennedy Family Show Support for Biden while Ignoring RFK Jr.

Members of the Kennedy family visited the White House over the weekend where they praised President Joe Biden, while ignoring their family member Robert F. Kennedy Jr. who is running against him.

The Kennedys were at the White House to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on Sunday, and later took to social media to commend Biden.

“It’s not enough to wish the world were better, you must make the world better,” wrote Kerry Kennedy, RFK Jr.’s younger sister. She added, “President Biden, you make the world better. Happy St. Patrick’s Day.”

Joe Kennedy III, the U.S. envoy to Northern Ireland, posted: “Small family gathering this afternoon!”

Previously, members of the Kennedy family criticized Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for his presidential campaign and its use of references to his late father and uncle, President John F. Kennedy. He faced backlash for a Super Bowl ad featuring well-known family members.

RFK Jr. was accused by his cousin, Jack Schlossberg, of “trading in on Camelot, celebrity, conspiracy theories, and conflict for personal gain and fame.”

Following the ad, RFK Jr. apologized saying, “I’m so sorry if the Super Bowl advertisement caused anyone in my family pain. The ad was created and aired by the American Values Super PAC without any involvement or approval from my campaign. FEC rules prohibit Super PACs from consulting with me or my staff. I love you all. God bless you.”
