Michelle Obama Theories are “Pure Lunacy,” Says Karl Rove
Republican adviser Karl Rove doesn’t think President Biden will be on the Democrat presidential ticket in November. He believes it would be “pure lunacy” to suggest that Michelle Obama would be the replacement.
Rove shared his theory on the Fox Business Network, suggesting that Biden will be encouraged to step aside and allow a younger Democrat to take over. He believes someone close to Biden, such as Jill Biden or his sister, Valerie Biden Owens, might intervene and suggest he step aside to make way for a different candidate to go against Donald Trump. Rove strongly believes that the Democrats will not allow Biden to continue as the presidential candidate.
When asked about Michelle Obama as a possible candidate, Rove dismissed the idea, stating that she is not interested in politics and enjoys her current life. Other potential replacements for Biden that have been mentioned include California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.
Rove also labeled the talk of a Michelle Obama candidacy as “a weird obsession of the conspiratorial right,” referencing a previous statement made by Dick Morris in January.
