On Monday, former Rep. Mike Rogers, a Republican from Michigan, officially declared his candidacy for the open Senate seat in his state. This announcement comes on the heels of his defeat in the 2024 election for Michigan’s other Senate seat, where he lost to Democrat Elissa Slotkin.
