Musk Disputes UK Anti-Mass Migration Leader Nigel Farage, Urges Him to Resign – One America News Network

Elon Musk, the billionaire entrepreneur and ally of Trump, has publicly urged Nigel Farage, the head of the UK’s right-wing populist party, to resign.

“The Reform Party requires a new leader. Farage lacks the necessary qualities,” Musk expressed in a post on X.
This unexpected disagreement has taken some by surprise, considering Farage’s prominent role in advocating against “uncontrolled” migration.
Previously, Musk and Farage appeared to have a good rapport after they met last month at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate to discuss a potential contribution to Farage’s Reform Party.
Musk had also previously stated that the UK “absolutely” needs the Reform Party.
While Musk did not elaborate on his views, Farage took the opportunity to respond, pondering the motivations behind the original statement.
“This is quite surprising! Elon is an extraordinary individual, but on this matter, I must regretfully disagree. I stand firm in my belief that Tommy Robinson is not a suitable candidate for Reform, and I will never compromise my principles,” Farage commented.
Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, better known as Tommy Robinson, is a British extremist activist opposed to immigration and Islam, currently incarcerated for contempt of court linked to “false claims” he made about a Syrian schoolboy in a documentary.
Robinson is recognized as the founder of the English Defense League, a group opposing Islamic extremism in England.
Recently, Musk has voiced support for Robinson, advocating for his release while backing the controversial documentary that led to his imprisonment.
In contrast, Farage has distanced himself from Robinson, asserting that he does not wish to associate with him, accusing him of inciting hatred through his inflammatory rhetoric and disruptive demonstrations.
Moreover, Musk has criticized UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer over the government’s management of underage girls’ rape cases involving men of Pakistani descent.
This criticism is inspired by a 2014 investigation, revealing that at least 2,400 children were sexually abused in Rotherham, northern England, between 1997 and 2013.
Musk also remarked that Safeguarding Minister Jess Phillips “should be imprisoned,” labeling her a “rape genocide apologist.”
Responding to Musk’s comments, UK Health Minister Wes Streeting stated, “It’s easy to hastily send a message when individuals like Keir Starmer and Jess Phillips have worked hard to arrest domestic abusers, rapists, and pedophiles.”
The effect of Musk’s criticism on Farage’s previously friendly relationship with Trump remains uncertain, given Musk’s close ties with the former president.
