In the shared clip, Leavitt is seen engaging in prayer with her staff just prior to taking the stage.

“Lord Jesus, please grant us the strength, wisdom, and clarity to express our thoughts joyfully and confidently. In Jesus’ name, Amen,” Leavitt is heard saying in the video.

Margo Martin, special assistant to the president and White House communications advisor, initially posted the video on X, captioning it, “This is your @PressSec, America!” accompanied by a praying emoji and the U.S. flag.

As the youngest White House press secretary in U.S. history, Leavitt began her journey in the White House as an intern during President Trump’s initial term and eventually served as an assistant press secretary under former Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany.

Last month, Leavitt shared insights about her faith in an interview with CBN News, revealing that she engages in prayer before every briefing.

“I view team prayer as a moment to pause, reflect, and seek God’s guidance for confidence, clarity in speech, and protection. It’s a comforting ritual that helps me reset before my briefing,” she stated.

She expressed that her faith holds immense significance for her.

“My faith is crucial to me. Now, more than ever, in this demanding and sometimes contentious role, the public scrutiny can be overwhelming. Having faith helps navigate through it all,” she told CBN.
