NATO’s Rutte Advocates for Defense Spending Increase Beyond 2 Percent of GDP




NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte urged member countries on Monday to increase their defense budgets beyond the established target of 2% of GDP, a threshold set ten years ago that is now viewed as insufficient in light of the emerging threats from Russia.
