Navajo Code Talkers Taken Down from Department of Defense Websites
At least ten articles concerning the Navajo code talkers, who were recruited by the Marine Corps to assist in operations during World War II, have been taken down from Department of Defense websites following President Donald Trump’s executive order that terminated diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
