Netanyahu Stands Against Cease-fire Without Hezbollah Disarmament



In remarks on Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that he informed French President Emmanuel Macron of his refusal to accept a cease-fire agreement that did not effectively prevent Hezbollah from rearming and regrouping. Macron had been advocating for a cease-fire between Israel and the Iran-backed Hezbollah, but Netanyahu remained steadfast in his position.
