A new timeline of the assassination attempt on Donald Trump is leaving experts with even more questions.

According to reports, the Secret Service and the FBI have privately briefed Congress on the Trump assassination attempt. Several details emerged from those closed-door meetings with the House and Senate on Wednesday.

Notably, the failed would-be assassin was identified as a “person of interest” “over an hour” before shots were fired. 20-minutes later, Thomas Matthew Crooks was then spotted with a rangefinder and a backpack.

Crooks was also later noticed on the rooftop by Secret Service personel a “full 10-minutes” before Trump took the stage.

Counter sniper experts are still dumbfounded how someone could have gained access to a rooftop of virtually the only structure in the immediate area, with a direct line of sight to the stage, about 150-yards away.

Earlier this week, Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle claimed that they didn’t put agents on top of roof because it “was slanted.”

Rob O’Neill, the Navy Seal who killed Osama bin Laden in 2011, jokingly said: “thank God Bin Laden didn’t have a slanted roof.”

What’s even more puzzling, is that local police were using the structure that Thomas Matthew Crooks climbed on top of and shot at the president from “as a staging area.” Additionally, the building was filled with law enforcement armed to the gills.

However, Special Forces sniper Tim Kennedy noted that there was catastrophic failures occurring at all levels.

It began with the feds, where the Secret Service and the DHS have deteriorated into a culture of mediocrity, and equality and inclusion replacing speed, competency, and experience. One secret service agent was caught on video consistently struggling to holster her weapon soon after the shooting.

This is reflected in a multitude of tactical errors by teams on the ground, even seen by the hesitancy of counter-snipers to take the shot.

There was also a communication breakdown over the threat, as it took 86 seconds to relay a perceived threat.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the 2024 Independent candidate, said that those guarding Biden are “the cream of the crop,” and considered to be the A-team in terms of security. However, those guarding the former president were far from it.
