New Pro-Israel PAC Pledges to Support Efforts to Defeat Biden
The head of a newly established pro-Israel super PAC is committed to “going all in” to help defeat Joe Biden in the upcoming November elections following the president’s remarks regarding setting a red line on U.S. aid to Israel.
The super PAC, American Fortitude, was launched on Thursday. Its president, Aaron Evans, criticized Biden for trying to gain “cheap political points” by stating that he would withhold ammunition from Israel if it were to invade the city of Rafah in Gaza, as reported by the Washington Examiner.
In an interview with CNN on Wednesday, Biden expressed that he would block certain shipments of American weapons to Israel if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu were to order a significant invasion of Rafah.
Evans declared to the Examiner: “Not only is he [Biden] going completely against the bipartisan decision of both chambers of Congress, but he is also turning his back on our most crucial ally. We intend to hold him accountable politically and ensure people remember this betrayal in November.”
American Fortitude aims to raise and allocate $30 million for the 2024 campaign. The objective is to hold lawmakers responsible for their positions on Israel as it confronts Hamas.
As per the Examiner, the PAC plans to focus on 15-20 races and work towards defeating candidates who do not support U.S. aid to Israel.
The super PAC is already developing an ad against Biden.
“There are states where we may not have previously been involved,” Evans stated. “We had not even decided on whether to intervene in the presidential race yet because Biden had been at least giving some positive signals. However, due to his recent actions, we are fully engaged in the presidential race now.
“We are currently working on our first ad that will highlight some of the foreign policy mishaps and President Biden’s lack of courage. This ad will be released next week,” he added.
“The Biden administration is aware of the reality but choosing to ignore it. They are essentially siding with terrorism to gain political favor at the expense of Israeli lives. This is unacceptable.”
