New Transcript Further Bolsters Evidence in Biden Family Scandal
The House Oversight Committee’s investigation into President Joe Biden’s family has released a transcript from a closed-door deposition by a key witness. This transcript offers further evidence of the president’s involvement in the scandal.
During the closed-door deposition, Carol Fox revealed that President Biden had profited from a $600,000 health care deal that his brother, Jim Biden, had with the Americore healthcare company back in 2018.
According to The Washington Times, Fox, a trustee for Americore, testified that a $200,000 check marked to Joe Biden originated from the deal and was in the possession of the committee.
The released transcript also revealed Fox’s statement that Americore’s payment of $600,000 to Jim Biden was highly questionable.
Fox raised concerns about Americore’s financial hardship at the time and questioned the decision to give $600,000 in loans, stating, “Hundred percent agree with you. That’s why I filed the lawsuit.”
The Daily Mail reported that Fox sued Jim Biden, alleging that he made false promises and representations based on his last name and political connections, leading to financial harm for Americore.
In the lawsuit, it was claimed that Jim Biden had procured an ill-advised bridge loan and failed to deliver the promised large investment from the Middle East. Jim Biden ultimately paid Americore $350,000 to settle the lawsuit, with his lawyers claiming he was not involved in the company’s demise and received the money for consulting work.
