Newsmax: Bernie Kerik Discusses Growing Terrorism Threat from Immigrants

The nation’s open borders are allowing individuals to enter the United States from countries in the Middle East that have animosity towards the country, leading to an increased risk of terrorist attacks on American soil, stated former New York City Police Commissioner Bernie Kerik in an interview with Newsmax on Sunday.

“Look at the individuals that have been allowed in, such as 10,000 from Afghanistan, 5,000 from Syria, 5,000 from Yemen, and more from countries that are considered potential threats,” Kerik emphasized on Newsmax’s “Wake Up America.” “There are individuals from these countries who harbor hatred towards the United States, the West, and Israel, advocating for the destruction of Israel.”

Despite the White House’s assurance of vetting the migrants, Kerik expressed skepticism.

“Who conducted the vetting process for the 10,000 Afghans? The Taliban? The Taliban currently governs Afghanistan, and we have limited communication with them. We lack communication with China, Iran, and Syria as well, but individuals from these places are entering the country. Almost 200,000 individuals of this nature have arrived in the past 2.5 years. Where are they and what are they up to?”

Many of these immigrants are passing through Venezuela, bringing its own set of challenges as they include individuals released from prisons, as per Kerik.

Kerik also noted that these immigrants are being transported throughout the country, each going to different locations.

“During my recent visit to Atlanta, I observed a line of around 250 people boarding flights,” he mentioned. “According to the TSA agent, each person is heading to a different city without proper identification. These are military-age males, no females or children.”
