Newsmax Finds Elder’s Ban From Debate Poll “Bizarre”



Republican presidential candidate Larry Elder is criticizing the Republican National Committee (RNC) for not allowing him to participate in the first debate. Elder is particularly upset that the RNC disqualified him based on his use of a Rasmussen Reports survey, which he argues is a valid poll. He also criticizes the fundraising tactics used by other candidates to qualify for the debate. Elder has filed a complaint with the Federal Elections Commission, accusing the RNC of not applying its own standards evenly. Additionally, Elder jokes that he is now on the RNC terror watchlist because he was also barred from the venue.
