Newsmax: Georgia Will Not Tolerate a Fourth Indictment, Donald Trump Claims
During an interview with Newsmax host Eric Bolling, former President Donald Trump commented on the possibility of being indicted for a fourth time. He joked that the next indictment might be a tipping point. When asked if he believes he would receive a fair trial in Georgia, where a grand jury is being convened to potentially indict him over his election challenge, Trump expressed doubt and criticized the district attorney, Fani Willis. Trump questioned why an indictment would come years later and potentially just days before the 2024 GOP presidential primary begins. He defended his actions during a phone call with Georgia officials, in which he asked for an investigation into election fraud and claimed he won the election by hundreds of thousands of votes. Trump compared the situation to his first impeachment, where he was impeached for asking Ukraine to investigate allegations against Joe Biden. He argued that his call with Ukraine was more perfect than the call with Georgia and that he was right about Ukraine needing to investigate Biden.
