Newsmax interviews Elaine Parker: President deemed ‘out of touch’ with economic reality

Elaine Parker, president of the Job Creators Network Foundation, expressed to Newsmax on Friday her belief that President Joe Biden is out of touch with the realities facing Americans.

On Friday, the Labor Department released data showing an increase of 272,000 jobs last month, although the unemployment rate rose slightly to 4.0% from 3.9% in April. In a statement, Biden stated, “The great American comeback continues, but we still have work to do. Since I took office, 15.6 million more Americans have found employment.”

Parker pointed out that half of the jobs mentioned in the report are in the government or social sector, which do not contribute to economic growth. She also noted that over 8 million Americans are working multiple jobs because they struggle to make ends meet.

During an appearance on “Carl Higbie FRONTLINE,” Parker stated, “The average family is spending an additional $12,000 each year just to maintain their current standard of living.”

When discussing the increase in house prices despite high interest rates, guest Hilary Fordwich, a global business consultant, explained that the limited housing inventory is driving up prices since homeowners with low mortgage rates are not selling.

Parker emphasized that despite the administration’s claims, the economic policies under Biden have caused hardship for many Americans. She noted rising gas prices and grocery costs as examples of the economic challenges faced by ordinary citizens.
