Newsmax reports: Ric Grenell says White House lacks peace plan for Ukraine
According to Ric Grenell, the former ambassador to Germany under President Trump, the White House failed to take any action when warnings were issued two years ago about Russia’s impending attack on Ukraine. Grenell expressed his concerns on Newsmax on Saturday, stating that there was no peace plan in place.
Grenell criticized the lack of response from the State Department, particularly Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, in the face of Russian aggression. He emphasized the importance of immediate intervention by European ministers to prevent the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
Despite the absence of a peace plan, Grenell noted that China had proposed a plausible solution about a year and a half ago, which included respecting Ukraine’s territorial integrity. However, he pointed out that the White House dismissed the Chinese plan and showed no interest in pursuing peace negotiations.
In a separate discussion, former acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker addressed the ongoing legal proceedings in Georgia concerning Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ involvement in Trump’s election case. Whitaker emphasized the need for transparency in the courtroom and expressed his belief that Willis may be disqualified from the case due to her personal relationship with prosecutor Nathan Wade.
