Nigel Farage speaks to Newsmax about lack of trust in the US under Biden administration

According to Nigel Farage, a British politician who led the Brexit movement, there are concerns at the diplomatic level in Britain about trusting the U.S. under President Joe Biden, as reported by Newsmax on Monday.

Farage mentioned that due to Biden’s handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal in 2021, there are doubts among diplomatic circles about continuing to trust America. “There are people now at the diplomatic level, quietly whispering behind their hands, ‘… can we still trust America?’” he told “Eric Bolling The Balance.”

While Biden claimed in his inauguration speech that “America is back on the world stage,” Farage pointed out that Trump had emphasized the U.S. taking the lead if NATO countries fulfill their financial obligations.

“The truth is it’s absolutely the reverse,” Farage stated, noting the importance of strength, resilience, and military readiness for maintaining peace – factors he believes are being overlooked under Biden’s leadership.
