NYPD to Revoke Trump’s Gun License Following Felony Conviction
Reports from CNN and NBC News suggest that the New York City Police Department is likely to revoke former President Donald Trump’s gun license due to his conviction for falsifying documents related to a payment made to a porn star.
Trump’s concealed carry permit was suspended in April 2023 after being indicted on these charges, as reported by CNN.
Sentencing for the felony counts is scheduled for July 11, right before the Republican National Convention where Trump is expected to be officially nominated to run for president against Joe Biden.
Trump has consistently claimed that the charges, trial, and guilty verdict were part of a conspiracy by Democratic operatives and Biden to sabotage his presidential ambitions to reclaim the White House lost to Biden in 2020.
