NYPD to Revoke Trump’s Gun License Following Felony Conviction
Reports from CNN and NBC News suggest that the New York City Police Department is likely to revoke former President Donald Trump’s gun license after his conviction for falsifying documents to hide a payment to a porn actor.
Trump’s concealed carry permit was suspended in April 2023 following his indictment on these charges, as per CNN.
Sentencing for the felony charges is scheduled for July 11, right before the Republican National Convention where Trump is expected to officially receive the party’s nomination to run against incumbent President Joe Biden.
Despite his claims that the charges were part of a conspiracy by Democrats and Biden to sabotage his presidential campaign, Trump was found guilty.
