Olivarez Urges Newsmax: Federal Government Must Uphold Its Own Laws

According to Staff Lieutenant Christopher Olivarez of the Texas Highway Patrol, the issue of massive illegal immigration is a federal government concern and they should be enforcing their own laws. He made this statement during an interview with Newsmax on Tuesday.

Last week, the Arizona Senate approved a bill known as HRC 2060 in an effort to address the challenges arising from the influx of illegal migrants into the state. Texas had previously passed a similar bill, but it was blocked by a federal appeals court.

Sheriff Mark Lamb, a U.S. Senate candidate, also expressed concerns about issues related to illegal voting in the upcoming elections in Arizona. He emphasized the need to prevent ineligible individuals from voting, especially given the failures of the government in handling border and immigration policies.

Olivarez highlighted the efforts of Texas in enforcing border laws despite federal government attempts to prevent it. He stressed the importance of having consequences and laws in place to curb illegal immigration.

“This is ultimately a federal government issue, and they should be responsible for enforcing their own laws,” Olivarez stated.
