Opponents Push for Blocking Louisiana Commandments Law Before School
Detractors of a recent Louisiana statute mandating the display of a rendition of the Ten Commandments in public school classrooms have filed a petition with a federal court to halt enforcement of the mandate as their legal challenge unfolds, prior to the commencement of the upcoming academic year.
