Pete King Speaks to Newsmax About Potential Impact of Hunter Biden Blanket Pardon
Former Rep. Pete King said on Newsmax Sunday that if President Joe Biden pardons his son Hunter on all charges, including tax evasion in California, it will raise questions as it involves the president.
Speaking on Newsmax’s “Wake Up America Weekend” with former Georgia GOP Rep. Jack Kingston, King commented that the real issue in the case is the tax evasion charges.
He added that while he might understand a pardon for Hunter Biden’s gun charges related to drug addiction, Biden’s involvement in his son’s overseas contracts that led to tax evasion raises additional questions.
Kingston said Biden will likely pardon his son after the November election, but he may hold off if Hunter faces trials for tax evasion. Kingston also mentioned that Biden has a history of lying and will do what he wants after the election.
The congressmen also discussed Russian fleet ships in Cuba, with Kingston suggesting it was a signal to Biden over a pact with Ukraine to use American weapons against Russian targets. King expressed doubt that Russia would have acted so boldly if Trump were still president.
