Pompeo Willing to Serve as Trump’s Administration Member Again
Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo stated on Friday that if former President Donald Trump is reelected, he would be open to joining the Trump administration if asked.
“I don’t usually discuss potential job offers,” Pompeo mentioned in an interview with Fox News.
“But if I have the opportunity to serve and believe I can make a difference, … I would most likely accept that chance to work for the American people.”
Pompeo, who previously served as Trump’s CIA director before becoming his secretary of state, also touched upon the importance of loyalty within an administration, stating that it is understandable for a president to expect dedication to their vision from their team.
“I believe President Trump will be seeking individuals who will faithfully carry out what he has asked of them,” he added. “I think every president should expect that level of commitment from their team.”
Pompeo ended the interview by predicting that the next election is likely to be a rematch between former President Trump and President Joe Biden.
