Rabbi Menken urges Newsmax to stop ceasefire in Gaza, claiming it will only benefit Hamas

Rabbi Yaakov Menken told Newsmax on Monday that Israel cannot trust Hamas in a ceasefire because it only gives them an opportunity to re-group, re-arm, and commit new atrocities against civilians.

During an interview on “Wake Up America,” Menken, the director of Project Genesis, an organization that promotes online Jewish learning, highlighted Hamas’ history of ceasefires and their pattern of using these breaks to regroup, re-arm, and commit new atrocities.

Menken emphasized that the recent attack by Hamas on Israel was just a dress rehearsal for what they have planned, stating that until Hamas is obliterated, no Jew in Israel is safe.

He also criticized anti-Israel protests on American university campuses, describing them as a deliberate quelling of free speech.

Menken pointed to disruptive protests in Berkeley and St. Patrick’s Cathedral, emphasizing the importance of basic decorum in civilized society and the need for university presidents to address these disruptions.
